Irvine police are looking for a driver involved in a three-car collision that killed 58-year-old Katherine Hampton and injured her two grandchildren, ages 2 and 7, Wednesday evening at Alton Parkway and Muirlands Boulevard. At the crash site officials found a black Ford Mustang with severe front-end damage, but the driver was missing. A female passenger in a Chevrolet SUV was killed. Another woman and two children she was riding with were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. A third woman who was in a Honda SUV was taken to a trauma center with unknown injuries. Police have recently arrested Alec Scott Abraham, 20, and believe he is he driver who caused the crash.
