5 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash NearPescadero

Firefighters and the California Highway Patrol responded to the accident on northbound state Highway 1 and Pescadero Creek Road in unincorporated Monterey County at 2:04 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol officials. One person was flown to a hospital and four others were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance, Cal Fire officials said. Some of the victims had to be extricated from their vehicle, according to Cal Fire officials.
