Pedestrian Killed in South Los Angeles Hit-and-Run; Investigation Continuing
The investigation was continuing Thursday into a hit-and-run in the South Los Angeles area that fatally injured a pedestrian. Paramedics sent to Vernon and Western avenues about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday took the 42-year-old woman to a hospital, where she died, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
