Baby girl rescued from fiery crash that killed parents

EASTON, Calif. (AP) A 6-month-old girl may owe her life to a man who rescued her from a fiery car crash in Fresno County that killed her parents. Sanchez says he put out that fire but flames began to spread so he grabbed the child and moved back. KFSN-TV (http://abc30.tv/1fNnd4f ) says the adults were the girl's parents. Jose Sanchez, who lives nearby, told the paper he found the crying child lying on the ground next to an open door. The Fresno Bee (http://bit.ly/1VlzE7h ) says the girl's hospitalized in good condition.

Family members say 6-month-old Ariana Hancock will be receiving skin grafts to help her recover from third-degree burns.A Good Samaritan found Ariana on the ground next to a burning SUV near Caruthers on Friday. Relatives say her mother and father both died in the fiery crash. They have been identified as Wendy Hancock and Gabriel Garcia.
