3 die in head-on accident on Highway 70
A Nissan pickup was traveling north on the highway when it first crossed into the southbound lane and sideswiped an SUV, Sanders said.
The northbound pickup continued traveling into oncoming traffic and crashed head on into a red car that was traveling south, he said.
A white SUV traveling south then broadsided the red car and came to a rest in a ditch west of the highway.
