Pedestrian killed in Chico car accident

The victim was transported to Enloe Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Chico State student struck and killed by SUV

Chico State Public Affairs Director Joe Wills confirmed Klein was a mechanical engineering student who began his studies at Chico State in Fall of 2011. According to Klein's Facebook page, he lists his hometown as Sonora and he graduated from Sonora High School in 2011.

Pedestrian fatally struck by SUV in Chico identified

Police say Klein was attempting to cross the street at the intersection of West Seventh and Hazel streets when he was hit head-on by a Chevy Trail Blazer. The vehicle then collided with two parked cars.

A 21-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle Saturday evening. The driver hit the man when he was crossing the street and then proceeded to run into two other cars. We will update this story as more information becomes available
