2 dead, 1 seriously injured in collision with train in Ogden

Little River County Sheriff Gary Gregory says one person was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person died at a hospital in Ashtown about an hour later. A third person is being treated for life-threatening injuries at a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. The Ogden Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders provided emergency care and removed the victims.

They said they had just left the house with a close family friend when the collision occurred. "We will be providing extra support; and extra counselors will be available as long as they are needed."
