Adult killed, 3-year-old hospitalized after car smashes into pole
A driver crashed into a business sign in Phoenix, killing one man and sending two others, including a 3-year-old boy, to the hospital on Sunday.
There was only one car involved in the crash at 14th Street and McDowell Road just before 2:30 p.m.
Police said the adult who died was a passenger. The driver has injuries that weren't life-threatening and the 3-year-old boy was transported in critical condition, police said.
