Man dead, child critical after struck crossing Phoenix intersection
A 50-year-old man is dead and a 12-year-old boy was in critical condition after a vehicle hit them in Phoenix early Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses reported the pair was crossing the intersection at 19th and Northern avenues against the red light in the crosswalk, Phoenix Police Sgt. Mercedes Fortune said.
