A man was trapped under a cement truck after a wreck in the southwest Valley on Friday morning and was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition, according to a Phoenix fire department spokesman.

Phoenix Fire Department responded to the crash around 9:30 a.m. on Friday where a man was found trapped underneath a cement truck, Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Benjamin Santillan said.
A collision occured at about 9:30 a.m. when a cement truck collided with another vehicle near 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road in Phoenix. The wreck left a man trapped under a cement truck in extremely critical condition. Emergency crews were able to remove him and transport him to a trauma center. Police in Phoenix are investigating the cause of the accident.
