1 dead in crash on I-17 in north Phoenix

DPS said ADOT cameras showed the crash on the off-ramp from Interstate 17 to Union Hills. The off-ramp is currently closed.

The closure will last the next several hours as detectives investigate the cause of the crash, Howard said. ADOT recommended drivers avoid the area. and use Loop 101, Bell and Deer Valley roads as alternate routes to I-17.
