2 seriously injured in Phoenix 2-vehicle crash

A small Blazer, driven by the elderly man, crashed with a 2-door BMW driven by the teen at 1750 W. Thunderbird Rd. about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Two vehicles collided Wednesday night, seriously injuring both drivers. Emergency personnel pulled the 17-year-old from his vehicle and he was taken to a trauma center. The 78-year-old was able to get out of his vehicle, but he suffered serious injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
