Man killed in wood chipper accident in Chandler

Emergency responders were called to the scene at a car dealership along Interstate 10 and Ray Road about 10:15 a.m. Thursday.

Wood chipper death in Chandler prompts investigation

According to police, a man was trimming trees at the dealership Thursday morning and was standing on top of the wood chipper. The landscaper fell partially into the chipper and suffered a fatal wound, police said.

A man has been killed in a wood chipper accident in Chandler. Firefighters confirmed one person was pronounced dead. The victim's identity has not been released at this time. One other person was with the man, and while the accident is under investigation, authorities currently believe that it was an accident.
