The incident occurred just before 5:30 p.m. when an SUV driven by a 34-year-old Andalusia woman collided with a pickup truck operated by an 18-year-old driver. The SUV driver was also critically injured and required emergency airlift transportation to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Two additional children in the SUV, ages 4 and 5, were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
