Body of missing Mobile firefighter found
According to Pensacola authorities, a boater notified Pensacola Police dispatch around 9:35 a.m. after finding the body approximately 300 yards offshore in Pensacola Bay from the Pensacola Yacht Club. They say Vahle lived on a boat docked at Palafox Pier and Yacht Harbor. He was last seen Saturday night leaving a business in downtown Pensacola. Earlier this week, Detective Amy Parsons with the Pensacola Police Department told FOX10 News that Vahle was reported missing by friends and family members after he didn't show up for plans and that it's unusual for Vahle to not make contact with them on a daily basis. He also did not report to work on Sunday.
