Police: 2 taken to hospital after woman driving wrong way causes wreck
Two people were taken to the hospital after a wreck in Downtown Guntersville on Friday.
A woman was driving a Mercury Tracer the wrong way on Highway 431 when she hit a trailer being pulled by a truck at the intersection with Highway 69. The force of the impact pushed the trailer into a Ford truck. The woman had to be extricated from her vehicle and was taken to a local hospital in unkown condition. The driver of the Ford truck was also hospitalized. No more information is available at this time. Check back for updates.
