Kevin Keith Waid, 27, killed, and Catherine Nicole Walters, 32, and Brooklyn Kay Waid, 2, injured in single-vehicle car accident on Alabama Highway 17 near Millport, Alabama

A Duncanville man died and two passengers were airlifted after a vehicle accident in Lamar County on Monday. Brooklyn Kay Waid, 2, was airlifted to Children's of Alabama hospital in Birmingham. The accident happened near the 237 mile marker, about six miles north of Millport. Passenger Catherine Nicole Walters, 32, was airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Troopers are conducting an information and said no further information was available Monday.
