Six People Killed In Southeast Oak Cliff Car Crash

Police said the vehicle was heading southbound on Bonnie View when a rear tire hit a curb. The car then smashed into the opposite median and plowed into a tree.

Dallas police are trying to figure out what caused a crash that killed six people in Southeast Oak Cliff late Sunday night.

Police believe speed was a factor in the crash. A witness said she saw the car going at least 100 mph.
Six people died Sunday after the car they were in lost control, struck a curb and smashed into a tree in Southeast Oak Cliff just after 9:30 p.m. near Bonnie View Road at Highland Hills Drive. Police said four of the victims died on scene. The other two were taken to the hospital but later died.
