Now, family and friends of the victim are handing out flyers in downtown Westerville, offering a thousand dollar reward for tips that lead to the driver's arrest.The flyer also provides additional information about the dark blue SUV pictured in the surveillance video. It's an older model, Ford Expedition.

Police also say after talking with the victim they believe the SUV has chrome or silver molding that surrounds the rear tail lights.Westerville police say Veltum's family has increased the reward for tips that lead to an arrest of the driver. The reward is now $3,000.
Police in Westerville are asking for the public's help to locate the hit-and-run driver that was involved in a crash with a motorcyclist on Dempsey Road Friday morning. Police said they believe the driver of the SUV forced the motorcyclist off the road. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 614-882-7444.
