One dead in Freehold Township crash
One person is dead after a two-car crash on Kozloski Road in Freehold Saturday night, according to a spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. The crash was reported around 8 p.m., said Charles Webster, the prosecutor’s spokesman.

News 12 is told that at least one other person was rushed to the hospital. There is no word yet on their condition, or if anyone else was hurt.
Boy, 7, killed in two-car Freehold crash
At around 8:10 p.m., a Honda CR-V driven by Michael Miranda, 23, of Freehold, and a Toyota sedan driven by Juliana Alcaraz, 24, of Howell, crashed between Route 33 and Center Drive, Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Charles Webster said.

Monmouth County prosecutors tell the Asbury Park Press that the 7-year-old boy was a passenger in a car driven by his mother, 24-year-old Juliana Alcaraz of Howell. But the child's name was not disclosed.

Father of Kozloski crash victim: Make deadly road safer
DeLuccio lost his daughter Noelle, 20, in a multi-vehicle crash Aug. 19 on the span of Kozloski Road between between Center Street and Route 33 Business. The death of 7-year-old Jose Julio Tello in a collision along the corridor Saturday night was a reminder of DeLuccio’s loss and renewed his desire to prevent more deaths there.
The county on Monday began to place electronic variable message boards on Kozloski Road telling drivers to “slow down” and obey the speed limit. But DeLuccio says a median would be a more permanent — and potentially life-saving — solution.
A vehicle driven by Michael Miranda, 23, and another driven by Juliana Alcaraz, 24, crashed on Route 33, killing Alcaraz's son. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Kozloski Road was closed in both directions from Center Street to Route 33 Business. One car was severely damaged, seen near the overpass of Route 33.
