One person died in an accident involving two vehicles on westbound I-70 Monday.
The fatal collision occurred around 11 o’clock Monday night, when a car rear-ended a Ford pickup truck as it was traveling westbound on I-70. The impact caused the truck to swerve off the right side of the road and roll over. The car exited the left side of the road. The passenger in the Ford truck died. He was identified as Marlon J. Cook, 31, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Cook died at an area hospital a short time later. The condition of the other people involved has not been reported.
