3 car accident claims 3 lives in Nelson County

NELSON COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- On Sunday morning, police reported a three car accident that claimed the lives of three people in Nelson County. The accident happened on a new portion of Highway 31 East, known locally as Louisville Road, between KY 509 and Wolfe Bridge. Around 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nelson County first responders responded to a head on collision, with an ejection, and 2 people entrapped. The names of the victims have not yet been released, as police are still notifying families. Highway 31 East remains closed in the area, as police investigate the scene.

Ky. Air National Guardsman killed in Nelson Co. crash

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) — A Kentucky Air National Guardsman was killed in a Nelson County crash on Sunday morning, Dec. 20, that police are investigating. Tyler Foster, who was a Drill-Status member of the Kentucky Air National Guard in Louisville, was one of the people killed in the that crash. He was an aerial port specialist in the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Contingency Response Group. David Mounkes, commander of the 123rd Contingency Response Group, said. “He was just an exceptional person. Jordan Hickman, 24, and Keaton Hall were also killed in the crash.

Triple funeral to be held for Bardstown accident victims

Just before Christmas, three Bardstown High grads - Tyler Foster, 25, Keaton Hall, 24, and Jordan Hickman, 24 - were killed in a crash on Louisville Road. She wanted to thank the community for their support and especially to Buzick Lumber, Tim Hutchins and Handy Food Mart for the wheelchair ramp supplies. This week, Waldridge finally left the hospital with a long road of rehab ahead. The car they were in crossed the center line slamming into a pickup truck driven by Brian Waldridge, 20.
